GTE is a registered trademark of the Volkswagen brand!Hello!The app shows interested users of the VW Groups plug-in hybrid vehicles information about the vehicles battery status while driving or charging and records it.It was tested under the following conditions:- VW Passat GTE 2020- OBD2 Bluetooth module APOS BT OBD 327 V2.2 (APOS GmbH Embedded Systems)- OBD2 Bluetooth module Vgate vlinker MC+ v2.2- Samsung Galaxy A5 (1920x1080, 480dpi) and Samsung Galaxy S20 (2904x1440, 640dpi)The Bluetooth module must be paired with your cell phone before using the app for the first time.The app queries standard functions of the battery control unit.
It only makes read access to the OBD system!
Nevertheless, use it at your own risk!It queries the following measured values ​​within a minute and displays them graphically:- the voltage of the battery cells 1 - 96,- the battery temperature as a numerical value,- the recording duration in minutes,- the SoC charge level of the battery as a curve, numerical value and bar,- the engine speed of the internal combustion engine,- the distance since the start of recording,- the battery voltage of the 12V system,- the SoH of the high-voltage battery;- the distance traveled with the combustion engine,- the electric share in percent over the entire mileage.The chart recording grid is 1, 2, 3, 8 hours or automatic 1-8 hours.
Once the time has been exceeded, the display is shifted to the left - i.e.
the last xhours +20min are always displayed and saved if necessary.The saving process is only done manually using the floppy disk icon button.
The saving process creates a screenshot as .jpg and a measurement file as .txt with date and time.

The SoH value in percent is continuously written to the file GTE-SoH_V178.csv together with the date, current mileage and electric content in percent.You can use the magnifying glass button to place a previously saved trip on the diagram as a comparison curve and then hide it again.The app is not intended for background operation.
